Vietnam Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC) Policy Roundtable 2026

The Vietnam HCC Policy Roundtable 2026, was jointly organised by the Vietnam Ministry of Health and the Asia Pacific Liver Disease Alliance, and co-chaired by Prof. Dr. Tran Van Thuan, Deputy Minister of Health, and Dr. Roberta Sarno, Director of the APAC Liver Disease Alliance. It convened senior policymakers, clinicians, health financing authorities, and patient advocates to define what progress should look like in the near term.

This report summarises key discussions, policy recommendations, and commitments made to strengthen action against HCC in Vietnam.
